The National Coalition of STD Director's (NCSD) is seeking new members to join their Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and other identified Men Who Have Sex with Men Sexual Health Advisory (MAC) Subcommittee. NCSD hopes to include someone from Oregon who has lived experience of the committee's focus and experience providing service or support related to STI prevention. The Comer Family Foundation is excited to announce that we have opened our Fall 2024 Syringe Services and Community-Based Harm Reduction Application<https://www.comerfamilyfoundation.org/syringe-service-program/grant-applicants.html>! We are accepting applications for single-year grants until November 1, 2024. Grant requests may range from $2,500 to $20,000. Eligibility requirements and criteria are outlined below.

COMER FAMILY FOUNDATION FUNDING OPPORTUNITY

Eligibility Requirements & Criteria:

The Comer Family Foundation will make grants to organizations that are exempt from federal tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that are not classified as private foundations under section 509(a) of the code. We welcome applications from Tribal governments and organizations that require a fiscal sponsor.

*        Organizations with total organizational budgets less than $600,000

*        Organizations grounded in harm reduction principle and practice providing access to sterile syringes, safer smoking, and snorting kits, through syringe services and community-based harm reduction programs

*        Syringe services and community-based harm reduction programs must be in operation for one full year

*        Organizations who have not received funding from Comer Family Foundation in the last 12 months
