The agenda for the 2026 Forum on Rural Population Health<https://www.ohsu.edu/oregon-office-of-rural-health/forum-rural-population-health> is coming together and we’re excited to share a preview of what’s planned.

This year’s Forum features two days of engaging plenaries and breakout sessions focused on practical, community-driven strategies to improve health outcomes and access to care in rural Oregon.

Agenda highlights include:

  * A powerful opening plenary on community-led advocacy, voice and accountability in rural health
  * Community health worker (CHW) and traditional health worker (THW) - focused sessions, including:
     * Creation of a virtual age-friendly curriculum for CHWs
     * Replicating a locally responsive THW training hub
     * Cancer education and workforce development for THWs
  * Sessions on rural workforce development, behavioral health, trauma-informed care and harm reduction
  * Innovative approaches connecting health care with housing, energy, EMS and other community supports
  * Age-friendly care models and planning for the needs of older adults in rural communities
The Forum brings together health care professionals, CHWs and THWs, public health leaders, policymakers, researchers and community partners from across Oregon to share what’s working and learn from one another.

Early bird registration is $75 through March 6 (regular price: $95).

Scholarships are available to help reduce cost barriers. See attached pdf.

Good morning folks-

Clinicians at Washington University in St. Louis and the St. Louis PTC are conducting a national survey regarding barriers, facilitators, and feasibility of long-acting injectable PrEP care at health departments and sexual health clinics. We are interested in hearing from clinicians, staff, and administrators who work in sexual health settings across the country. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes and is anonymous: https://redcap.link/washulaibarriers<https://redcap.wustl.edu/redcap/surveys/?s=TXXCA739C8K3F88F>

Thank you for your time!
