1. Be aware of the CDC STI Guidelines as they specifically pertain to all adolescents
2. Know the nuances of the CDC STI Guidelines as they pertain to adolescents living with HIV
3. Know how to incorporate STI screening and testing in routine preventive health care of adolescents, per American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommendations

What is this lecture series?
The Building Skills in Sexual Health webinar series is a collaboration between the Washington AIDS Education & Training Center, the Washington State Department of Health's Office of Infectious Disease and the Northwest Regional Primary Care Association.
This web series, now in its fourth year, aims to equip clinicians and staff at Washington State Federally Qualified Health Centers with tools and resources to address patients' sexual health needs from a whole health perspective.
This Mountain West AIDS Education and Training Center (MWAETC) program is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of an award totaling $2,820,772 0% financed with governmental sources.

Dear Community Partners:
Oregon will be submitting its 2027-2031 Integrated HIV Prevention & Care Plan to federal funders on June 30, 2026. This plan represents our collective work along the HIV care continuum and is a requirement of grantees receiving HIV federal funds. We invite you to review the plan (attached to this email) and provide feedback on the plan, the needs assessment, and the resource inventory. The Community Feedback period will be open from May 15 – May 29. You have several ways to provide feedback:
