The minutes for the April Accreditation Work Group meeting are attached.

Funding Now Available for Local and Tribal Health Departments*

Northwest Health Foundation is pleased to support and encourage local
health departments to prepare for accreditation by the Public Health
Accreditation Board; a nonprofit organization dedicated advancing the
quality and performance of tribal, state, and county public health
departments.

NWHF is committed to supporting the efforts of public health departments to
create a world-class health system and healthy communities.  The Foundation
recognizes that the path to accreditation may also enable local and tribal
health departments to effectively engage with Coordinated Care
Organizations and develop innovative and sustainable models for public
health.

An “intent to apply” is due by April 27. For more information:
