[Libs-Or] Funding for Technology, Collection Development, and Professional Development from NNLM Region 5

The Network of the National Library of Medicine, Region 5<https://www.nnlm.gov/about/regions/region5> funding program improves access to health information, furthering the mission of the NNLM<https://www.nnlm.gov/about/about-nnlm>.
Pending budget availability, upcoming awards for the May 1, 2025- April 30, 2026 funding period include: 
Technology Improvement Award<https://www.nnlm.gov/funding/rfa/technology-improvement-award-year-5>, to increase access to technology. 2 Awards, $5,000 each 
Collection Improvement Award<https://www.nnlm.gov/funding/rfa/collection-improvement-award>, to support library collection development of health materials. Applications from public libraries, community-based organizations, and organizations with limited collections budgets will be prioritized. 4 awards, $1,500 each 
Professional Development Award, to provide continued learning opportunities on health information and research. Applications for this award will be accepted on an ongoing basis beginning May 1, 2025, until funding is expended. A request for applications will be available in the spring of 2025.  
Letters of intent for the Technology and Collection Improvement Awards are due on March 11, 2025 to the Region 5 Office (nnlm at uw.edu).
