REFORMA Oregon is excited to announce the return of our signature event — the 2025 Oregon Mock Pura Belpré, sponsored by the State Library of Oregon’s LSTA grant and hosted by Happy Valley Library. After a five-year hiatus, this event is back, and it won’t be one to miss!

  *   11–12:30 pm | Contemporary Codices: The Art and Stories of Duncan Tonatiuh — presentation by the award-winning author/illustrator
  *   12:30–1 pm | Break
  *   1–3 pm | Oregon Mock Pura Belpré Award discussion and voting
Explore the 2025 nominees, discuss with peers, and help select the “mock” winners — just like the official award committee!
  *   3–3:30 pm | Break
  *   3:30–4:30 pm | REFORMA Oregon quarterly meeting with food (hybrid option via Zoom)
