In the session, Mj will present how the Library of Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), a multicampus university in Catalonia, Spain, supports research through specialized technical services. The talk will cover the institutional and research context, the structure of the CRAI (Learning and Research Resource Centre), and the speaker’s role within the Research Output Management Unit. Key topics will include repository services, FAIR-aligned data curation, data management plan (DMP) support, and internal coordination practices that promote open, ethical, and high-quality research. At the end of the session there will be time for questions and discussion.

María José Sánchez Martos (Mj) is a Research Support Officer at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), where she specializes in open access, data curation, and research data management. She manages the university’s institutional repository and leads the curation of datasets in the Research Data Repository (RDR), ensuring compliance with FAIR principles. She is also URV’s expert in data management plans (DMPs), providing guidance and training for researchers. With a background in computer engineering, educational technology and data science, her work focuses on promoting open, ethical, and high-quality research practices.
