Final call: ACRL-OR Applications for Scholarships for the 2025-2026 Academic Year
ACRL-OR sponsors scholarships to support the work of Oregon academic library employees. Up to $1,500 is available for the 2025-2026 year, with individual award amounts determined by the ACRL Scholarship Committee. Applications are reviewed during the academic year until funds are depleted. This round closes March 2, 2026.
Uses: The ACRL-OR Scholarship may be used for the following:

  *   Conference attendance (such as but not limited to OLA, ACRL-OR/WA Joint, Online Northwest or another conference)
  *   Workshops
  *   Courses
  *   Seminars
  *   Other learning opportunities (including eLearning)
  *   Creation of programming, such as a workshop, conference, or pre-conference
  *   Collaborative research projects
  *   Other academic library-related pursuits
  *   Something we haven’t listed!

Eligibility: All Oregon academic library employees are eligible to apply. For collaborative projects, at least one applicant needs to work at an Oregon academic library. Preference will be given to ACRL-OR members in good standing and to those who have not previously received this award. Applications should demonstrate meaningful connection to their library responsibilities, information literacy, or advocacy for libraries in Oregon.
