Sharing this heads-up: sometimes the "vendor" is a distributor, not the
manufacturer. While Bayscan is an allowed vendor, Datalogic Technologies,
which actually makes this scanner, is excluded from federal spending.

The item in question is the Bayscan Imaging 2D Drivers License Scanner.
<https://www.bayscan.com/datalogic-qd2430-2d-imager.html> It looks like the
item is distributed by Bayscan but made by Datalogic. An article

that
I found on the Datalogic website that seems to support this. The library
mentioned in the article is the same library that is in the video on the
Bayscan item page.

just in case that may help:
