Yes!  We have an incredible project called Illinois Libraries Present.

Through a new Illinois cooperative called Illinois Libraries Present (ILP), Illinois libraries will have the capacity to provide high-quality online events regardless of the participating library's size or budget. Illinois libraries are known for resource sharing and while that often refers to materials, this initiative provides a cost-effective resource sharing opportunity for libraries and the patrons they serve.  From September 2022- June 2023, ILP will offer 12 programs including two teen and youth programs and aim to have the programs range from smaller authors/speakers that draw 500-1,000 people to nationally recognized speakers that draw 5,000+.  The goal is to provide high-quality, high-profile events for the public to attend that would otherwise be cost-prohibitive for single libraries to hold on their own. Here are some of the 2022-2023 speakers we have already booked: Marlee Matlin, Jesmyn Ward, Caitlin Doughty, Shauna Sever, Ross Gay,Robin Wall Kimmerer.
