Hi!  We are still waiting on the confirmation of the time slot for your meeting and other meetings.

I may have mentioned that with the dissolution of ASGLA and its lists we set up a group in ALA Connect for the LSTA Coordinators.  This is set up to be a closed group so only designated LSTA Coordinators.

ALA fully switched over all listservs to spaces in ALA Connect.   This might be a discussion item at your meeting, does the group want to utilize this space for communication, etc.

Unfortunately there is no option for a 10-11 meeting, not sure why

Options are 8:30-10:00, 9:00-10:00 and 11:00-12:00

So you prefer to begin at 9:00?

The LSTA Coordinators’ Interest Group typically met on Saturday morning of the conference, usually around 10 am.

Ninah and Kathleen:

Thanks for forwarding over to Chapter Relations Office. Kathleen, yes the LSTA Coordinator Interest Group home in ALA is with CRO.  So we can assist in setting up your meeting at ALA Annual.

Sorry for not reaching out earlier, but we are currently down the staff person who normally would have helped set it up.

Can you let me know when the Coordinators would like to meet at Annual, preferred day and time?  We unfortunately can’t guarantee but odds are good it will be accepted.

All time slots are 1 hour except for the early morning 8:30-10:00 and late afternoon 4:00-5:30.

We will make it a closed session and not have it advertised online.

The deadline for us to submit the request is Fe 25th.

I used to Chair the LSTA Coordinators’ Interest Group when it was a part of ASCLA. I understand that many ASCLA activities were transferred to RUSA. I am trying to find out who to contact to see about setting up a meeting of this group under the RUSA umbrella for the Annual meeting. If I need to contact another ALA office please let me know.
