Hi, Meghan.
I understand the dilemma.
We keep it as a unit over $5000 because nothing can be priced individually, therefore, consider it Equipment. It's just easier to process that way.

Subject: [lstac] Bundled Goods
Could you weigh in on a budget question, please? We have a library that is purchasing two "kits" for $12,711.50 each. Initially, this was placed under "Equipment," so we inquired. Here are the contents of the kit:
"Each kit contains 10 headsets with perpetual licenses, 2 teacher devices with perpetual licenses, and several other things including controllers, batteries, chargers, and the case itself."
Now we are conflicted! Is it Equipment because it's over $5,000? Is it Supplies because the contents of the kit don't contain any overly expensive items? Could even a portion of this be Services because the of the licenses?
Because the items are bundled at a discount, they don't know the individual prices for each piece. Hmm... what would you do?
