[lstac] statewide databases

Fellow Coordinators,

For those of you who have statewide databases, would you be willing to share how you report your usage such as each search or only downloads or what?  Also, if you can, would you be willing to share your cost per search?  I have tried to research what is an appropriate cost per search that justifies having the databases but have been unsuccessful.  I realize vendors, population, number of databases and other factors come in to play, but surely there is some idea of what is a terrible price and what is an ok price per search.  Can anyone share or point me in that direction?
