Hi Sulin,

The South Carolina State Library's collection development policy is on our website at the link below
https://www.statelibrary.sc.gov/about/state-library-policies

We also have a few sample policies at the link below
https://www.statelibrary.sc.gov/libraries-librarians/library-consulting/library-director-services

Not sure if they will help with your specific question.

Hi Sulin,

We do not collect sample policies, but our affiliate the Massachusetts Library System does. I'm not sure if they have something applicable to your specific examples, but it might be worth a look:

Hi all,

If your SLAA has a physical collection that is available to the public, would you be able to share your collection development policy? We have fairly comprehensive Nevada Collection, but it's mostly non-fiction, and mostly print. Trying to determine how/if fiction and self-published authors fit in and how the collection might align with the Indie Author project, which we are not doing, yet. But might.

Thank you!
Sulin
