Not hiatus, not just yet. But we're on a new timeline for subgrants<https://nsla.nv.gov/2024LSTA/Deadlines>, started last year, because I just could not. I used to start late fall/early winter (so now) and even though I was prepared for crankiness, I was surprised by how much the subgrantees liked the new timeline. I would guess this is a tough time, capacity wise, for them as well. So, we have a built-in cushion.
This new timeline should allow us to prep with real federal numbers, or at least have a better sense for how things will play out. Plus, we'll have the Governor's recommended biennium budget.
Subgrants
Announcement: March
Apps due: July
Projects start: Sept.
Projects end: Sept. (13 months)
Statewides/internal projects are still July - June though.

Is anyone else considering putting grant programs on hiatus for the 2025 federal year? My application and contracting calendar would need to be started before we are likely to know the funding status for next year, so I'm wondering what others who may be in the same situation are considering.
Thanks.
