[lstac] Grant Compliance for State and Federal Grants

Hello all,

I am experiencing an issue with grant compliance that overlaps between
state-funded and federally-funded grants. Do you issue subgrants from state
funding sources as well as federal funding sources? Do you apply the same
grant compliance to both sources of grant funding? Right now, we issue
grants from both funding sources and require the same compliance between
each. For example, if a recipient is on corrective action for audit and
financial purposes, this applies to both state and federal grants as the
issue is with the recipient regardless of funding source. We also require
an active UEI for both state and federal grants. We are being challenged
about this process and I wondered if anyone had experienced anything
similar. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
