[lstac] Five-Year Evaluation Project Plans or Process

I’d love to hear more about the process as well. This is my first time working on it, and there’s no one still here who was closely involved with the previous project. I’ll be using the guide: https://www.imls.gov/sites/default/files/2022-12/2023-2027_fiveyearevaluationguidelines.pdf and the conference slides to start.

This project doesn’t meet the threshold that requires a formal bidding process in our state, but we still plan to review proposals from several contractors, thanks for the spreadsheet. I was able to find information about how the project was funded last time, along with some details on the previous timeline. It looks like the contract was finalized by June of the year before the deadline, which suggests the bidding process probably started a few months earlier, given how long it can take. Based on that, I think starting in January, as was suggested, is a good choice.

If anyone is able to share a general outline or steps in the process, that would be especially helpful.

Hello all,

Happy Friday!

This will be my first year assisting my agency with the five-year plan evaluation. I was hoping to develop a plan for the different steps needed to complete the evaluation. Does anyone have a project plan or process that they could share? All I have from my predecessor is a presentation they gave to our stakeholders and the evaluation itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
