[lstac] Subgrants and vehicles

More or less the same in Ohio. We did quite a few vehicles with ARPA money as well.

The only thing I’d add is that like all our grants, we look for a strong programmatic and service plan/justification in the application. We want to see why it’s needed, how it will be used, how often, by who, and how it will align with our five-year plan.

FWIW, our highest subaward currently is $50,000.00. So, anyone looking at a vehicle is going to be limited to smaller things and not full-on bookmobiles.

Hi Karren--

Maryland awards subgrants and we have funded vehicles-- we funded a record 13+ with ARPA funds.

We, of course, get pre-approval from our IMLS program officer. When we fund vehicles, we want to see the quote from the vendor w/ due date. We also give a serious reminder about wanting to see correct acknowledgements for MSLA & IMLS on the wrap. We also let them know that if they are including wifi (which they should) this makes their vehicle eligible for E-Rate funding.

And that's about it!
