Ah, I like the line about in compliance with federal regulations. I may already have that but wasn’t thinking of executive orders that way. I want our libraries to be able to apply for what they need but I understand that we’ll have to consider executive orders relating to DEI when we are reviewing applications.

Oh this is on my long list of TO DO here in Utah!
I will take all the support possible navigating this, please. Kelyn, is there a thread I can find on this? I didn't update anything other than links and the equipment amount for FFY2024 and my FFY2025 grants are all out.

We only had one application in my tenure of a year that was ineligible due to executive orders, and we addressed it directly with the applicant- otherwise our contracts and assurances state that they must be in compliance with federal regulations so it's technically covered in that.

Thanks to the feedback I’d gotten from several states (including MI), I was able to update our certifications/assurances form to make it in line with the CFR revisions for the FY2025 subgrant cycle. We still use a separate CIPA certification.

Has anyone done new certifications and assurances for grantees for the last fiscal year or this fiscal year? I haven’t updated ours since FFY 2024 as we didn’t have a grant program last year. I’m wondering what yours look like now.
