Hello LSTA Coordinators,

My name is Yetu Robinson, and I am pleased to introduce myself as the new LSTA Coordinator for the State of Arkansas.  At the encouragement of my IMLS Senior Program Officer, Cindy Boyden, I am reaching out to introduce myself to the Listserv community.

I recognize that I have big shoes to fill, as my predecessor, Debbie, was highly respected in the field.  While I am new to the world of library grants, I bring extensive experience in grants administration, having previously worked with USDA, DHHS and DOE grants as a Grants Monitor, Auditor, and Manager, primarily in Arkansas and Tennessee.

I look forward to deepening my understanding of IMLS and LSTA and hope to have the opportunity to meet many of you at the upcoming LSTA Coordinators Conference in Fort Lauderdale.  My State Librarian, Jennifer Chilcoate, and I plan to attend the meeting in April.

In the meantime, I welcome any guidance, resources, or insights you are willing to share regarding State Libraries and LSTA administration.  Please feel free to reach out-I truly value the opportunity to learn from this community.

On a personal note, I have lived in Illinois, California, New York, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Washington, DC.  I look forward to connecting with colleagues from those states, all of which I have greatly enjoyed calling home.

I am excited to join this community and work alongside you all.
