--------------- Announcements ---------------

New Crime Victims' Compensation On-line Submission
Crime Victims' Services has launched the newly updated CVC application on-line that everyone has access to fill out and submit electronically.  This takes the place of the link that was previously sent.  You can submit using any electronic device (including IPads).  You will submit through our CVSD website at www.doj.state.or.us/victims/pages/index.aspx<http://www.doj.state.or.us/victims/pages/index.aspx> . Please do not use the old link previously sent.  There will still not be the capability to upload reports at this time and you will still need to email those reports to the CVSD email like you all have been doing.
The new application is a little bit different format, hopefully easier to fill out.  On the new application there is a new section for the offender's date of birth. The other new feature is that there will be a checkbox for the victim/applicant to mark along with printing their name which will become their electronic signature.  The signature page will no longer need to be submitted in paper form.  If you have any questions, please contact Christy directly at 503-378-6272.  We are excited about this new process and want this transition to be as smooth as possible.
