To best serve the community, we are interested in learning about your greatest needs for training and professional development. October 2022 OCFIT
Applications for October 2022 Oregon Child Forensic Interviewing Training (OCFIT) are NOW OPEN! This training will be held IN PERSON Monday - Friday, October 24 - 28, 2022, at Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center in Wilsonville, OR. The hotel booking link will be sent to all accepted applicants.
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 21st, 2022.
The schedule is as follows:

  *   Monday, October 24th (1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
  *   Tuesday,  October 25th   (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
  *   Wednesday, October 26th (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
  *   Thursday,  October 27th   (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
  *   Friday, October 28th (8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
Please encourage your partners to apply if they are able to attend. We should note that the training is full of content that requires full attention and culminates in group practice and a post-test. Attendees must be fully present and must pass the post-test to get the certificate of completion.

Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in CQI
Join us on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time for the second installment of our  series entitled “Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in CQI<https://www.zoomgov.com/meeting/register/vJIsceyspjIvGgMvKCqE0a7X_UkxHI6U4bU>.”
The second session, entitled “Advancing Equity through Data Exploration,” will feature national expert, Dr. Fred Wulczyn, Senior Research Fellow with Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago.  This session will focus on conceptualizing and developing data analysis and exploration to advance the field’s knowledge about racial disparities and how disparities relate to equity.

  *   Learn sound methods for integrating a focus on race equity in data analysis and continuous quality improvement (CQI) practices.
  *   Discuss which questions child welfare administrative data can help us answer about the relationship between disparity, disproportionality, and equity.

The four Regional Children's Advocacy Centers are pleased to launch a new training for MDT Facilitators!

Fundamentals of Team Facilitation provides a strong foundation for professionals who serve in the roles of Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Facilitator for a Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) (regardless of their actual job title). This training will cover an overview of the MDT Facilitator’s role in the CAC/MDT model, an introduction to team development and skills for building trust and safety on the team.

The role of the Board is to ensure the SATF Executive Director, staff members, and committee volunteers are ethically and legally fulfilling the mission of the organization.

The Board is tasked with approving and upholding the organization’s Strategic Plan, evaluating performance of the Executive Director, ensuring responsible spending of organization grant monies, and assisting with fundraising and marketing campaigns.
Support and advocate for SATF to maintain a survivor-centered, social justice, and mission-driven focus while navigating system-based environments.
