[MyOEBB] Post-Open Enrollment Mailings

Dear Business Managers, Superintendents and Benefits Administrators:

 

Please accept my apologies for not getting this message to you sooner.
Our goal is to provide at least one week's notice before we send
communications out to your employees so you will have an opportunity to
ask questions and prepare to assist them with questions or concerns.
That being said ...

 

This message is to inform you of two recent mailings:

 

1)      Post-Open Enrollment Benefits Statements were mailed to members
in stages last week. This mailing included a cover letter containing
links to federally required notices as well as the member's personalized
Benefits Statement. 

 

Members who selected the "E-mail" option in the MyOEBB member module
during Open Enrollment should have received an e-mail with two
attachments (the cover letter and their benefits statement) the weekend
of October 1st. For those who elected the "USPS" option, or did not
indicate a preference on how they wished to receive information during
Open Enrollment, hard copies were mailed in batches last week with the
final batch going in the mail Friday, Sept. 30th.

 

Please note that the information on the USPS Benefit Statements contains
the last enrollment selections that were made during the open enrollment
period. These statements do not include any changes that were made by
the educational entity once the open enrollment period ended.  The
information on the E-mail Benefit Statements contains the last
enrollment selections as of September 30th.

2)      Letters notifying members flagged as having a 12-month waiting
period on their and/or their dependents' dental and/or vision plan(s)
are being mailed via USPS today. 

 

Please note that these letters were generated using data in the MyOEBB
system as of Monday, September 26th. Changes made after the September
26th data pull will not be reflected.
