[MyOEBB] OEBB mailing letters re: Healthy Futures

Dear Business Managers, Superintendents and Benefits Administrators -

Attached please find four letters OEBB plans to mail late next week (approx. Jan. 15 - 17) targeting specific members who have not yet properly completed Step 1 (Choose to participate) of the Healthy Futures process. It can get a bit cumbersome to explain the requirement that if a spouse/partner is on the subscriber's medical plan, both the subscriber and the spouse/partner need to participate, so we have four different letters targeting different scenarios. Note that there is a field labeled [relationship] where the mail merge will insert the proper relationship for that subscriber, either "spouse" or "domestic partner". That way we can be as specific as possible for that particular subscriber's situation. The four letters attached are as follows:


1)      "Mis-Matched, Member In, Spouse Out" is for situations where the subscriber has a spouse/partner on their medical plan and the subscriber has said "yes" to HF, but the spouse/partner has said "no".

2)      "Mis-Matched, Member Out, Spouse In" is for situations where the subscriber has a spouse/partner on their medical plan and the subscriber has said "no" to HF, but the spouse/partner has said "yes".

3)      "Reminder Ltr, No Spouse" is for situations where the subscriber does not have a spouse/partner on their medical plan and they have said "no" to HF.

4)      "Reminder Ltr, With Spouse" is for situations where the subscriber has a spouse/partner on their medical plan and they both have said "no" to HF.
