Dear Benefits Administrators, Business Managers, and Premium Contacts:
Thank you to everyone who responded to our survey to help determine the 2014 meeting schedule. The overwhelming majority voted for third Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon, so that is the schedule we will put in place for 2014, starting in February. (No meetings in August or September, due to Open Enrollment.) This month's meeting will be held a week from today, Thursday, January 23, 2014, 10 a.m. - noon. See log-in details below in the "How" section.
Please see the attached agenda as well as the PDF of "attachments" - Attachment 2 is a color-coded meeting calendar for the year. Please mark your calendars accordingly. If you are one of the few who are unable to make that time, or if you happen to miss a meeting for any reason, you may request a link to the webinar recording after the meeting has ended. We do encourage you to participate as it's happening live, if possible, so you can ask questions and contribute to the discussion, but if you are unable to attend, please send an email to: jackie.cowsill at state.or.us<mailto:jackie.cowsill at state.or.us> to request a link to the recording.

What: OEBB's Benefits Information Exchange (BIE) Group Meeting - agenda and handouts attached
When: Thursday, January 23, 2014 (10 a.m. - noon) - third Thursday of each month, 10 a.m. - noon (starting February 2014, no meetings August or September)
Where: Join from any computer via iLinc webinar
Who & Why: The purpose of the BIE Group is to facilitate improved communication between OEBB and participating educational entities. All interested entity representatives (business managers, benefit representatives, payroll staff, IT staff, etc.) are welcome to attend either in person or via the iLinc webinar. Please share this invitation with any appropriate coworkers who may not be on our listserv. Typical agenda items include a recap of that month's board meeting, a walk-through of one or two reports in Report Mart, and updates on upcoming MyOEBB system modifications and member communications. We also invite questions and suggestions on any topics you would like to discuss.
