Dear Benefits Administrators and Business Managers –

Here are a few quick updates related to OEBB communications:

· We’ve revised our forms so the vision enrollment information precedes the dental, to better follow the flow of data entry in the MyOEBB admin module. The links on our website now point to the revised forms, including:

1. 2013 New Hire Enrollment Form<http://www.oregon.gov/oha/OEBB/docs/Form/Enrollment.pdf>

2. Midyear Change Form<http://www.oregon.gov/oha/OEBB/docs/form/mid-year_change.pdf>

3. Entity-Customizable 2013-14 Enrollment Form<http://www.oregon.gov/oha/OEBB/docs/Form/Enrollment_customizable.doc>

· A supply of posters has been shipped to each entity to help remind your members about OEBB’s Healthy Futures program as well as two health-promoting programs that are available at no cost to anyone age 18 or over covered on an OEBB medical plan (Healthy Team Healthy U and MoodHelper). Please watch for your posters and display them where your members will be most likely to see them. You can preview the poster designs on the Employing Entity Resources page, in the “Healthy Futures Communications – March 2014” section - http://www.oregon.gov/oha/OEBB/entity/Pages/eeResources.aspx

· On approximately March 13th, OEBB will either email or USPS mail a postcard (following the preference indicated in the MyOEBB system) to all members enrolled in an OEBB medical plan who, as of March 3rd, had not successfully completed Step 1 of the Healthy Futures program, “Agree to Participate". This communication reminds these members of the deadline to complete Step 1 (March 31, 2014) as well as the subsequent steps of the Healthy Futures program. View a sample of the postcard<http://www.oregon.gov/oha/OEBB/docs/2014/HFpostcardMarch.pdf>.

· We have also posted two new Healthy Futures informational items to the OEBB website:

1. Healthy Futures Exemption Policy<http://www.oregon.gov/oha/OEBB/docs/HFexempt.pdf> – The Oregon Educators Benefit Board (OEBB) will allow exemptions from the Healthy Futures’ online health assessment and/or the two healthy activities requirements for members whose condition, disability or situation makes it unreasonably difficult or medically inadvisable.

2. Healthy Futures Incentive for Kaiser Medical Plan 1<http://www.oregon.gov/oha/OEBB/docs/2014/KP_Plan1_HFincentive.pdf> – Since this plan does not have a deductible, a financially equivalent reduction in copays will apply to those who complete the requirements of the Healthy Futures program and enroll in this plan for 2014-15.

Links to these documents can be found on the Healthy Futures FAQ page<http://www.oregon.gov/oha/OEBB/Pages/HF-FAQ.aspx> of the OEBB website, as well as other pages where these topics are addressed.
