Good Morning

I hope everyone had a TOTALITY awesome Solar Eclipse day!

Here are just a few reminders during this open enrollment:

Forgot User Name or Password?
For security reasons OEBB is strongly encouraging all members to click the "Forgot User Name or Password?" link on the front portal of MyOEBB Member Module.  If a member doesn't remember the answers to their security questions we are directing them back to their employer for help either resetting their password and/or fixing their security answers.

Can you change your employees passwords?
Yes, you can change their passwords by opening Security Setup then Administrator in the Admin Module.  Make sure they answer their security questions and you are speaking directly with the member.  The system will ask them to reset their password AGAIN when they log in.  The password you gave them will now be their old password.

Can you change their security answers?
Yes, you can change their security answers by opening Security Setup then Administrator in the Admin Module.  You cannot change their security questions, only the answers.  OEBB will not be changing any security answers for members; they will be directed back to their employer.

Can you mass lock out your entity from MyOEBB?
Yes, you can select Mass Lock from under Security Setup.  Give a reason that all will understand like "Open Enrollment is Over".  The Start Date is the date you want the lock to start effective midnight.  So, if you want to end open enrollment on September 5th your Start Date will be September 6th.  When you select this option it locks out the entire entity.

What if my employee had a QSC during the summer?
Process the QSC correctly and timely so the member or their dependents aren't penalized with a 12-month wait on dental or they don't get offered the Guarantee Issuance for Optional plans.

Does everyone have to enroll?
If a member doesn't enroll they will be without medical, dental and vision plans effective October 1st.  Even if the member wants opt out or waive they still need to go in and make these choices.

How much does my insurance cost?
OEBB only posts the full price of monthly premiums.  We depend on you, the employer, to let your employees know their out of pocket costs.

Do I really have to do a Health Assessment?
Yes, if a member wants to reap the reward for Healthy Futures they need to do a Health Assessment with either Moda or Kaiser between August 15, 2017 and October 15, 2017.  The links can be found here, and will be available on the home page of the OEBB site starting August 15th:

Can I take enrollments over the phone?
I know this time is hectic but you need a way to document enrollment selections.  Please make sure one of the following methods is used:

  *   The member doing their own enrollment online.
  *   The member turning in an enrollment form which is kept in their personnel file.
  *   The member making changes via email which you keep.

Is Delta Dental really Moda?
Yes, we just changed the names this year.  Everything named Delta Dental is a Moda plan.

Is there really NO Out of Network coverage for Delta Dental Exclusive PPO Plan?
Yes, this is correct.  The member and their dependents must use an in-network provider to have coverage.  There is no out of network coverage.

Does a Synergy or Summit plan require a Medical Home selection?
Yes, the member must choose a Medical Home for themselves and their dependents prior to the first service to have claims processed at an in-network rate.  If Medical Homes already exist for the member and their family they don't have to renew them unless they want to change.

I have an employee that has Locked Dependents.  What does that mean?
If an employee has Locked Dependents it means they or their spouse/partner hasn't turned in Dependent Verification and the dependents have been termed, expired and locked.  Please make sure the member files an appeal with OEBB with the appropriate documentation to get the dependents unlocked.

Change of Employment
If you give your employee a Change of Employment you need to finish the enrollment.  They cannot access their enrollment via the MyOEBB Member Module until you complete the Change of Employment process in the Admin Module.

We hope this open enrollment period is a success for everyone.  OEBB will have extended hours during Open Enrollment:
Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and until 8:00 p.m. on September 15th.

OEBB will be closed Monday, September 4th for Labor Day.  The MyOEBB system will not be available 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31st until 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 1st due to monthly billing processes.  Please plan your enrollment activities accordingly.
