[Oac-link] OAC Announcements: April meeting cancelled, patch installed, PDFs, ORPIN training date

Hi OAC Group,

I have several announcements for you today:


1.      There will be no OAC meeting this month. Our next meeting will be on May 18th.


2.      The patch items we discussed during the March meeting were installed into Production on Saturday, April 16th. My favorite is the new Contract List widget - you can mark commonly used contracts as "favorites" and then access them right from your welcome screen when you log in. You can even create Work Orders against those contracts right from the widget itself - very handy! Here are the instructions for the Contract List:

I turned on the widget for my account and marked a few contracts as favorites to show you an example. Here is what it looks like:

3.      We experienced intermittent issues with PDF creation in ORPIN today, but the process has now been restored. No need to worry about documents you issued today- if the PDF didn't generate when it was first issued, it will generate when someone clicks on View PDF the first time.


4.      The next ORPIN Full System training has been scheduled for Thursday, May 19th. This is a great class for new ORPIN users. Please share this information with your staff and encourage anyone interested to sign up in iLearn soon as the class fills quickly.
