[OMS_MANAGERS] Farmers Market

Hillsboro has a great one (actually THREE markets). Karla Antonini (City of
Hillsboro, Economic Development) can fill you in or connect you to their
market manager. 

Astoria has a great market too ­ Sundays May through October (and a special
Winter Market now through Christmas). The Sunday Market is 10-3 and spans
three blocks and a couple of parking lots. The management does a great job
of maintaining a good mix of vendors, which is key to success I think. They
raise enough money each year to fund significant community projects, and in
fact contributed HALF the cost of our RARE volunteer! Cyndi Mudge is the
manager.
