Hi Brian,

In downtown Hillsboro we have two markets, one on Saturdays that runs may through end of October is a Farmers Market and the market manager is Laura Conroy, website  http://www.hillsboromarkets.org/ contact info is 503.844.6685 and email: manager at hillsboromarkets.org<mailto:manager at hillsboromarkets.org> It has been running for 28 years. This is a traditional farmers market.

The Tuesday Market runs from mid June through August and is a different sort of market with live entertainment (stage with musicians every week) as well as hot food vendors and produce vendors. I think this market has been going for 20 years or so. The plaza in the front of our civic center is well programmed with a different theme each week (you can check out the past themes on the website from last season). The Tuesday Marketplace just hired a new manager two years ago and she is amazing.
