You should pay a visit to Tillamook and see what has been done to the old IOOF building at the corner of 2nd and Main. It has been turned into a public market with the help of urban renewal funds and houses 16-20 small businesses. Rents run around 200-300 per month and there has been no shortage of people wanting to start a small business. Contact me for further information if you are interested.

We’re considering financially partnering (with an urban renewal grant) with a private building owner to create a private-sector retail small business incubator concept in our downtown. 



I’m looking for other examples of multi-vendor retail spaces (not “malls” or more traditional multi-tenant retail spaces), with very small footprints sharing common services under one roof. In our example, it would be 60+ vendors in 14,000 square feet.
