>From HPLO:
Many thanks to those of you who participated in this year's Preservation Roundtable. After three workshops and a statewide survey, we received input
from nearly 200 individuals, including city planners, elected officials, architects, property owners, developers, and community leaders, and arrived
at a set of Principles for Compatible Infill Design. This has been published in a Special Report available on the Historic Preservation League of
Oregon's website:
http://www.historicpreservationleague.org/FieldNotes/HPLOSpecialReport-CompatibleInfillDevel.pdf .
We believe these principles are immediately applicable in communities that are seeking to create or update their current guidelines and regulations and
we hope they will form a basis for financial incentives to spur on the revitalization of Oregon's historic districts.
Your feedback is welcome!
