[OMS_MANAGERS] Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt

Depending on location and demographic profile, they tend to do quite well.  Sherwood has Polar Bear that is doing well in a strip mall, but wants to move into downtown when their lease expires.  I also know of one in a strip mall in Grants Pass that is always hopping when I go there.   They are more than a fad, having been around for over 5 years.

Fellow Oregon Main Streeters,

Our district has a vacancy that is a perfect size for a self-serve frozen yogurt.  Our district also has a Baskin Robbins, but they have given the ok for one to go in.  The property owner has been approached by 2 people interested in putting in one.  Her primary hesitancy is that she believes they are a fad and the business will fail before a lease term is up.  Have any of you by chance obtained data on self-serve frozen yogurt shops that you would be willing to share, or know who has?
