Sorry, I do not have any data in this issue.

 

I can tell you we’re had several frozen yogurt stores here in Lake Oswego over the last fifteen years.  The shops run by experienced, quality operators are the ones that last, and there does not seem to be much difference whether they are corporate; franchise; or independents.   Any retail lease is a risk.  As a retail property owner myself, I’ve always tried to protect myself by making sure I’m dealing with experienced tenants, and/or minimizing financial risk through increased lease deposits, and/or very limited TI allowances if any. Fellow Oregon Main Streeters,

 

Our district has a vacancy that is a perfect size for a self-serve frozen yogurt.  Our district also has a Baskin Robbins, but they have given the ok for one to go in.  The property owner has been approached by 2 people interested in putting in one.  Her primary hesitancy is that she believes they are a fad and the business will fail before a lease term is up.  Have any of you by chance obtained data on self-serve frozen yogurt shops that you would be willing to share, or know who has?
