Through the 2012 Preservation Roundtable, the Historic Preservation League
of Oregon <http://www.historicpreservationleague.org/index.php> has
received input from over 200 Oregonians about the future of our state's
historic masonry buildings. At workshops in Jacksonville, Astoria,
Pendleton, and Portland we heard about the challenges and opportunities of
utilizing and upgrading our brick and stone courthouses, schools, main
streets, and apartment buildings. After some careful distillation of this
feedback, we have arrived at eight big ideas that we want you to weigh in
on!
The HPLO asks you to consider spending 10 minutes helping us vet these
initial findings and recommendations through an online survey. With your
input, HPLO staff and volunteers will assemble a special report on the topic
of Oregon's Masonry Buildings for unveiling at our 35th Anniversary
Celebration on October 25th and distribution to stakeholders and
policy-makers in 2013.

Please note that the survey closes Wednesday September 26th.
We very much appreciate your time and are looking forward to providing
strategic recommendations that'll help make Oregon's masonry buildings more
accessible, resilient, and economically viable into the future!
