[OMS_MANAGERS] Need Your Help in Identifying Contact Info for Historic Theaters

The historic 1925 Beaver Theatre is in the downtown Beaverton Historic District.  It has a very interesting history since it was a showcase for not only Hollywood silent movies but also movies made by the Premium Picture Productions in Beaverton.  These locally produced silent movies were seen all over the US and were popular in their time.  The theatre  is now owned by the Beaverton Bakery who use it for their offices.  Carrie Ann Schubert would be happy to tell you about it's present condition and what is original since it has been in her family for quite a while.  Her email is attached.
I have attached a copy of the text and drawing that was made into a marble plaque that is now on the front of the building.
Eight buildings within the historic district received plaques similar to this.

The only historic theater we have in Sandy is the theater that is part of Clackamas County Bank's downtown branch (38975 Proctor Blvd, Sandy, OR).  They use the room behind the wall they project the film on as a boardroom....otherwise it is not in use and has not been for decades. We are supporting a project the University of Oregon’s Community Service Center will be conducting beginning this fall to gather information about historic theaters (both film and performing). We need your help
 to provide contact information for the historic theaters in your community. The info we need at the present is:

·        
Name, mailing address, email, and phone number of the theater owner (both the building owner and theater operator if these are different)

·        
Name of theater

·        
Address of theater

·        
Use of theater (e.g., film or performing)
 
The overarching goal of this project is to promote the renovation and use of historic theaters as community assets. Expanding use beyond local markets will be key to the success of many historic theaters. Project
 objectives include:

·        
Inventory historic theaters.

·        
Assess needs of Oregon’s historic theaters.

·        
Identify opportunities to leverage resources.

·        
Develop programs and coordinated delivery of services to encourage restoration, maintenance, and continued operation.
·        
Identify opportunities to use historic theaters to attract business travel and tourism activity
