Nominations Due August 7th for 2015 DeMuro Awards

Honoring Exceptional Historic Preservation, Reuse, and Community Revitalization



The DeMuro Award<http://restoreoregon.org/demuro-award/> is presented each year to outstanding examples of preservation and adaptive reuse of historic homes and buildings, as well as compatible infill development across the state.  Their purpose is to celebrate those who steward Oregon's historic places with particular excellence, persistence, and impact.  They show what is possible and serve to inform and inspire others across the state.



If you know of an exceptional project deserving of recognition (categories include residential and commercial, large or small, privately or publically owned, completed within the last five years) please download and submit a nomination<http://restoreoregon.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/DeMuro-Award-Nomination-Form-2015.pdf> BY AUGUST 7, 2015.



The DeMuro Awards will be presented at Restore Oregon's annual Restoration Celebration on November 13th in Portland.  Former winning projects have included The Astoria Train Depot/Barbey Maritime Center; the Burkes-Belluschi House; Furman Hall at Oregon State University; the Ranger Station/Fish Inn-Bike Inn in Sisters; the Irvington Tennis Club; and the Galleria / Urban Target Store in Portland.
