Nominations Due August 7th for 2016 List of Oregon's Most Endangered Places



Each year Restore Oregon publishes a list of Oregon's Most Endangered Places<http://restoreoregon.org/oregons-endangered-places/> for the purpose of spotlighting their importance and rallying resources to save them.  Criteria for listing include significance, urgency of the threat, community support, and long term viability for reuse.  Those properties selected for the Most Endangered Places List receive direct consultative support from Restore Oregon along with a seed grant to kick off preservation efforts.



If there is a significant historic place in your community at risk of being lost, get your nomination<http://restoreoregon.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/2016-MEP-Nomination-Form.pdf> in to Restore Oregon by AUGUST 7th.



Oregon's Most Endangered Places List for 2016 will be announced along with the DeMuro Awards<http://restoreoregon.org/demuro-award/> at Restore Oregon's annual Restoration Celebration on November 13th in Portland.  Already saved from this year's list is the First Congregational Church Bell Tower<http://restoreoregon.org/first-congregational/>, whose restoration work is underway!
