[OMS_MANAGERS] Downtown Diva

Hi Cassie --

Sandy Main Street can definitely sympathize with you regarding Downtown
Diva.  We purchased that program a number of years ago prior to my arrival,
and have had nothing but problems with it since.  The developer, Jennifer
Rose, appears to be the only support person for the application.
Contacting her can be difficult, and when she's out sick or on vacation,
you're on your own.  Her training sessions are very difficult to follow,
and she only does them a limited number of times.  The last one we
scheduled, she cancelled the session on us the day of the training for
reasons unknown.  Also, the program doesn't appear to have any sort of
internet connectivity, so any updates to the program must be done manually
by Jennifer.

All this being said, I would recommend something a little more modern and
robust, and with better support.  Unfortunately, we are closing up shop in
July so we never bothered to replace it.  However, I'm sure that some of
the other managers here might have some good suggestions....
