Registration for the first course of the Main Street America Institute, Advanced Fundamentals of Economic Vitality I<http://my.preservationnation.org/site/R?i=Z83agB-Yl2TQS_aqAC4f0A>, is now open! This course will explore how micro and macro market forces impact commercial districts and provide  you with the knowledge needed to bring downtown vision and market data together to create transformative strategies that result in more sustainable commercial district marketplaces.

Advanced Fundamentals of Economic Vitality I will consist of three live online sessions - one per week for three weeks – at one hour and twenty minutes each. Here are the session details:

Week 1: Developing Transformative Strategies
January 12 at 1pm CST | Instructor: Matt Wagner, National Main Street Center

Week 2: Market Analysis – Leveraging for Business Development
January 19 at 1pm CST | Instructor:  Jim Thompson, Main Street Iowa

Week 3: Real Estate Deal Structuring
January 26 at 1pm CST | Instructor: Teresa Rufaro Prim, Prim Lawrence Group

Advanced Fundamentals of Economic Vitality I counts towards achieving Main Street America Institute’s <http://my.preservationnation.org/site/R?i=MNt4MgQsTKUSdFFWamXYgA> Community Transformation Certificate<http://my.preservationnation.org/site/R?i=PknGl-sMF-fFLHHe7a0jMQ>. To receive credit, you will be required to complete a short test after each online session.
