Hi Steve,

 

Tami Trowbridge here.  We had existing snowflake decorations that we revived
by painting them and switching out the old bulbs for LED's.  We bought them
from 1000 Bulbs online.  I don't have the file right here in terms of the
bulb size, but I can track that down later.  The City is responsible for the
power on those so I will ask the financial guy if they have seen any
difference.  They look much better with the LED lighting!

Hi Everyone,

 

The City of Tigard in Partnership with Tigard Downtown Alliance does an
annual tree lighting celebration each year.

 

Today's quest is to get information in regards to replacing our tree lights
- We are seeking about 1500-2000 ft or so.

 

Has anyone switched to LED?

 

Any data related to energy cost savings?

 

Anyone using c-9 3.7 amp bulbs?

 

What spacing are you using (1' or ??)

 

Any sourcing information on where to purchase either?

 

Any other takeaways from your district is appreciated!
