This is open to Main Street Track communities. We’ve had a few questions about the webinar and the scope of the assistance. Here’s a little more info about what the service will entail:
>
> Storytelling Webinar. Ryan will first introduce the selected towns to the art and science of storytelling with a one-hour webinar. In addition to learning about storytelling strategy and plot structure, Ryan will take time for members to discuss their storytelling needs with each other and brainstorm as a group stories that they can share. We anticipate scheduling this service sometime the week of August 28 depending on the time that best suites the communities that are selected.

> One-on-One Storytelling Counsel. With each of the selected communities, Ryan will provide one-on-one assistance to further identify your strategy, interview you about that story, and develop your story content. Each town will also receive coaching on presenting your story, and support to prepare to tell your story at our OMS conference.
>
> Messaging Plenary. Your town if selected, will participate in a 90-minute plenary breakfast at our OMS Conference on October 6. Ryan will facilitate the session to teach the skills and tools for talking about Main Street work. You will be asked to share the stories you developed w/Ryan. Then, as a big group, Ryan will work to identify key themes that can help build support for Main Street organizations and practice using language that can better convey the value Main Street organizations offer their communities. Each person will leave with a new "elevator speech" that inspires others to join with them.
