The 2017 Oregon Main Street Conference is just a little over a week away! We are fast approaching capacity for the Conference and Awards Celebration, October 4-6, in Oregon City. There are only 17 full conference registrations remaining. We do have plenty of Thursday only registrations available. You can register for the conference here<https://omsconference.ticketleap.com/2017/>.
A copy of the conference program is now available on our website - this has the schedule, session descriptions, and speaker bios: http://www.oregon.gov/oprd/HCD/SHPO/Pages/2017-Oregon-Main-Street-Conference.aspx
Also, don't forget that there are two pre-conference workshops hosted by other organizations:
Travel Oregon 101
This seminar is an information dive into Oregon's travel & tourism industry, designed to benefit visitor-related businesses, organizations and communities. Participants will come away with an increased knowledge of the many opportunities available through Travel Oregon and the network of local, regional, national, and international industry partners. Register here<http://www.cvent.com/events/2017-travel-oregon-101-seminar/event-summary-5d5a9974eb1c4c6d9ee6985c541d365c.aspx>.
Maestro Community Manager
Maestro is a cloud-based database used by Main Street communities for their downtown efforts. They are offering a workshop to educate participants on the Maestro Community Manager software and how it can be used by organizations. Register here<http://marketing.maestrocm.com/portland>.
A huge "thank you" to the Downtown Oregon City Association for their assistance in planning and hosting the conference this year including the Awards Banquet, Opening Reception, Social Mixer, and so much more! We are also grateful to our conference session sponsors: Transportation Growth Management (TGM) and Metro, as well in-kind support from the Providence Willamette Falls Community Center and Abernethy Center.
