[OMS_MANAGERS] National Night out

We didn't do it, but there is interest in it for next year with a new Chief
of Police.

I have experienced the National Night Out in Oregon City for years, and
it's put on by the City of Oregon City's police department and they partner
with the telephone company locally to provide free hot dogs to the first
300 (I believe that is the number).  It's a great partnership between a
local businesses and the city.   I had helped with sponsors before for the
band.  And the stage was provided by the local towing company. It's an
amazing community event coordinated by staff Chris Wadsworth.

I'm curious too but about the actual logistics throughout this group.  If
your community had a NNO event, was it through your city government as the
lead or did your Main Street organization's put it on?
