[OMS_MANAGERS] Event information and call-out practices

We use Tockify calendar (tockify.com). It integrates to our website, and allows users to submit events. Also provides a nice interface for our events on the website so there’s no web admin involved. For this particular calendar, we use Google calendar as the “back end” and it integrates to Tockify (we also use Tockify for our general calendar of events, but it’s a free subscription that doesn’t have the user submission option).

(you’ll have to go back to September to get a good look – this calendar is for one of our outdoor parks, so not a lot of activity recently)

 

We pay $8/month. They have other tiers that let you use custom themes, eliminate Tockify branding, etc., but this basic plan is working fine for us. Very curious how everyone else is managing this, as well – I haven’t had time to evaluate if there’s a better method … again though, at $8/month and meeting our needs, it’s not high on my priority list.

I am working on doing an event call out for 2019 to our partners, which includes chamber, wineries, businesses, etc.  

 

What do other managers do?     Is there a free simple online form (besides Google) that most of you use as a Main Street?   Looking to just gather contact, event name, date and description.  They would be free to also just send me a link, but would like to streamline it.
