Hi Holly,

In Lebanon we have started doing First Friday's Downtown, it's an event
from 6pm-9pm on the First Friday of each month May-September. The idea was
brought to us from a volunteer after they had been in Bend on a Friday
night. We are encouraging businesses to stay open later, hold a sale of
some sort or a giveaway. The Promotions committee is working to have some
form of entertainment at each event as well as have vendors throughout
downtown and other free activities. Each one is themed and our one coming
up this Friday is a Wine and Art Walk. If anyone is around Lebanon this
weekend you should totally come check it out.

The first one was in May and we had roughly 200 attendees downtown that
evening. Our only feedback was that they wished more businesses would have
stayed open (we had 10 participate in addition to the standard places that
are typically already open during the later times.

Let me know if you have further questions!
