Dear Friends and Colleagues of Megan Smith,

As many of you know, on October 14th we lost one of Oregon's most dedicated leaders, Megan Smith, to health complications.  Megan was a pillar in the rural community development arena, and her loss will be felt by the countless individuals she touched during her 25 years of service with the RARE AmeriCorps Program and throughout Oregon.  To celebrate the life, sprit and accomplishments of Megan, please join us on December 8th at 1pm for a Celebration of Life at the Ford Alumni Center<http://www.uoalumni.com/s/1540/fac/index.aspx?sid=1540&gid=3&pgid=633> here on campus at the University of Oregon.

Please park in the free campus lots just west of the Ford Alumni Center accessed from E. 13th Ave (lot 37) and at 15th and Moss St. (lot 33).

We hope to see you on Dec. 8th to remember and celebrate Megan, who inspired, mentored and supported so many of us.  Please share this invitation with others who knew Megan.
