Dear Sherri,

Small Business Saturday<https://www.wipp.org/resource/resmgr/sbs18/2018FactSheet.pdf> 2018 is launched! Our "turnkey", no cost communications toolkit is here! We invite you to register<http://wipp.force.com/SmallBusinessSaturday> to receive it...today!

As I wrote during the summer, the Small Business Saturday Coalition<http://www.wipp.org/resource/resmgr/sbs18/coalition2018--how_it_works.pdf> was founded in partnership with American Express in 2011 by Women Impacting Public Policy, with a goal of creating and growing a coalition of local, state, and national organizations to promote Small Business Saturday<https://www.wipp.org/resource/resmgr/sbs18/2018FactSheet.pdf>. This year it falls on November 24th.
The Coalition sincerely appreciates your willingness to consider joining what we expect to be 600 business organizations around the country to spread the word about the importance of shopping small. There is no cost to use our communications toolkit.
We invite you to sign up for the 2018 Coalition by clicking here!<https://wipp.secure.force.com/SmallBusinessSaturday/>
As a 2018 Small Business Saturday Coalition Member, you and your organization will receive the following benefits:

  * Turnkey communications toolkit including sample social media, email and newsletter messaging
  * Organizational recognition on the Shop Small website (www.ShopSmall.com<http://www.ShopSmall.com>)
  * Guidance on how to raise awareness and grow the Shop Small movement by recruiting nearby business associations in your community
  * One-on-one guidance on how your members can take advantage of all the benefits offered through www.ShopSmall.com<http://www.ShopSmall.com>

By joining, your group will play a role in growing the Shop Small movement success. * 70% of U.S consumers are aware of Small Business Saturday
  * 73% of consumers who reportedly Shopped Small at independently-owned retailers and restaurants on Small Business Saturday did so with friends or family.
  * The most reported reason for consumers aware of the day to shop and dine at small, independently-owned businesses was to support their community (64%).
