Hey all,
Our $200k fund finally got approved yesterday so if you're looking for information for your own cities and how they can support your businesses, here's the link to the application material and qualification information: https://www.orcity.org/DebtRelief
And Oregon City is 36,000 so well under the 50,000 threshold.

Hi Jeff,
I was wondering if you still have the email from OEDA regarding using grants? I must have blown it away. If you have it can you please forward it to me? Thanks Jeff.

The City of Forest Grove, population 25,000 City Council approved a $100,000 grant program up to $2,500 grants for either mortgage or lease within the URA boundary. . Using URA dollars, thoroughly reviewed by our City Attorney even after looking at the OEDA memo. It will be for those affected by either of the Governor’s E.O. s. Working on the mechanics now and hope to get on the street very shortly so we have not made it public yet.

The City of Sandy (population 11,300) is considering a direct grant program as well. We are considering a dual source of funding (UR dollars and general fund dollars) so we can assist businesses outside of our urban renewal district and are currently rounding up funding sources...

Hi everyone,
With a number of cities now providing financial grants to small businesses (Beaverton, Hillsboro for example), our city has indicated that they are unable to do so because we don't meet a population threshold of 50,000.
I have asked for clarification on this point, but would like to know if any of your cities with populations less than 50,000 are taking financial steps to assist your members.
Thank you in advance.
