[OMS_MANAGERS] Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant Impact Update

Hi all,

Kuri Gill, our Grants and Outreach Manager, gave an update on the impact of the Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant on our Mornings on Main call this week. Attached is a copy of the brief report summarizing the awards to date. For those who receive a grant, we require an annual impact report for five years following the completion of the project. As a result, we have really meaningful quantitative data from the first round in particular. Equally compelling is the anecdotal information that is shared on how the projects have spurred further investment. One thing we noted on the call that was an unanticipated benefit is the strengthening of the local programs in our Network as a result of organizations undertaking planning efforts, establishing priorities, and building capabilities of managing projects and grant funds.
